BRIAN: Well Congratulations Joe on our first anniversary, but I hear NoVax has won another Tennis open and broken some kind of new record or something, not that I care, to be honest.

JOE: Yeah, happy anniversary to you and everyone here at INN mate, but yeah, I reckon we’re all about as sick and tired as you are about NoVax mate, I mean, yeah he’s a pretty good player – and yeah he’s just broken some record for most grand slams in the history of the sport or something – and yeah he’s intelligent and independent thinker-type who gives his time and money away generously to help people and charities and all that crap – but look, he’ll NEVER be a Roger Federer or a Rafa Nadal, will he? Now there are two blokes who are INNformation like the rest of us Brian, they didn’t have a problem getting one or two or more in the arm when asked! They’re the kind of sportspeople who you can rely on to always say and do the the right things, so you can just switch your brain off and enjoy sport! That’s what is for NoVax! Anyway, here’s a picture of the bloke winning the French Open at Roland Garros over Casper Ruud, but if you don’t mind, I’m going straight into SportWrap mate, I’ve had enough of this guy…

Two-time series champion Josef Newgarden wins the 107th Indianapolis 500. Great bloke, that guy.

Australia win their first Test Cricket World Championship title, defeating India by 209 runs at The Oval in London. Travis Head is named player of the match. There’s another legend!

The Denver Nuggets popped up to win their first ever NBA title defeating the Miami Heat in game five of the series, Nikola Jokić was named Most Valuable Player – Now there’s a Serbian I like!

And the Vegas Golden Knights won their first Stanley Cup, defeating the Florida Panthers in five games as well. Jonathan Marchessault won the Conn Smythe Trophy.

JOE: See? There you go. Plain old sport! No ‘standing for anything’, no ‘principles’, no ‘breaking all the records and making everyone else look bad’ … Just sport, that’s all – Now someone tell NoVax to go get one or two in the arm already get INNformation… Geez!SnakeDog’ Sockic there with some interesting insights… Thanks a lot, buddy…
