BRIAN SOCKINGTON: And now to sport with Joe ‘Snake-Dog’ Sockic, and Joe it seems some sports-folk have been allowed to speak about not wanting to wear their assigned rainbow pride jerseys?

JOE SOCKIC: Yeah Brian, it’s upsetting ‘cause you’d think everyone would be INNformation with this by now and just wear whatever they’re told to. But players from Rugby League’s Manly Sea Eagles are using the end of the season to discuss being left out of the team for refusing to wear rainbow pride jerseys, and even thank those involved in not sacking them – instead of focusing on the real problem of radical, right-wing, religious nutjobs in the game, and their hatred of minority groups. And they’re not the only one’s! Here’s a list of all the players you should boo for not thinking like you, on INN Sportswrap for October.

• Of course, we start with these SEVEN rugby league players who’d rather not play a game than wear a gay pride jersey for, quote, ‘religious reasons’. I say, be a man! You play for Manly for God’s sake! And just because the NRL chairman Peter V’landys says you’re ‘completely within their rights’ to boycott – that doesn’t mean you are!
• NHL Hockey player Ivan Proporov refused to wear the rainbow during training and according to the media, caused ‘irreparable damage… in the community’ and ‘promoted homophobia and actio ns that make people feel unwelcome’ – Proporov said in an interviw that he respects everyone’s choices… Russian Scumbag!
• Footballer Idrissa Gueye refused to get INN-rainbow-formation with his teammates – Messi, Mmbabe and Neymar. Why? Was he too good for them? He used his religious upbringing in Senegal as an excuse and country where 97% of people approve of a five-year prison sentences for homosexuality,(2013 PEW Global Attitudes Poll). Gueye was rightfully condemned as a homophobic criminal by French bigot-fighters Rouge Direct, and France’s LGBT Sports Federation, who pushed for severe sanctions against him for not following his teammates.
• Five Tampa Bay baseball players refused rainbow logos during their warm-up, but incredibly, they were still allowed to play the game. I mean, we’re not talking one player here, but 5? There must have been catastrophic damage to the public message, even if it wasn’t apparent right away. You might not have even noticed the promotion if everyone just did it INN-formation?
• And what about this Kramer guy, this scumbag refused to show support for the LGBTQQIAAP community by wearing an Aids ribbon back in 1992?
• Then there’s Muslim Women’s Footballer Hannen Zeirka who… ahh … ahh… Um, were’ just getting word that the ABC have already looked into this inspiring woman’s story and have settled on it being complicated and have moved on…  And ah, yeah, that’s sport… Take over please Brian…
