BRIAN: Thank’s Joe – Over to INN’s meteorologist Jane Bunion now, and Jane, we’re all very excited about the world exclusive you have for us today…

JANE: Thanks Brian, we’re all super excited too and there’s a real buzz around the offices here – Since I was just a tiny little bootie, I’ve always wanted to be on TV and get paid to talk about the weather and how it really is the most important…

BRIAN: Ahh, apologies Jane, but we ARE running a little over time today…

JANE: Oh, ahh, is there time to thank the team and stuff?

BRIAN: Quickly if you can Jane…

JANE: Great, ahhh, It’s taken years of effort to combine the very latest data and global weather modelling with state-of-the-art AI and machine learning technology, to produce our brand new, industry first 9-and-a-half-day forecast! The entire team is just thrilled to have been part of its development, which we think will set a new benchmark for news broadcasting around the world… But first to the weather around the world, and you can see developing patterns of cold near the top and bottom bits of this round area here, with some hotter areas across the middle and some pretty nice weather near these beaches here and in this forest-y part. Zooming in now and we see that Europe can expect very summer-like temperatures throughout most of summer, with warmer days and often cooler nights. South America will continue to experience various types of weather, as will Asia, North America and Africa. We are indefinitely banning Russian weather reporting from today, although you can be fairly certain it will be cold and bleak like the pictures you’ve seen on the news since the cold-war. But now, without further introduction, we introduce the world’s first, INN exclusive, game-changing 9-and-a-half day forecast…

BRAIN: Sorry Jane, but we are right out of time today unfortunately (CUT TO JANE) but we will try and squeeze it in next episode?

JANE: Ahh, can’t we just flash it up on the screen quickly?

BRIAN: Nope, not much chance today Jane…  ahh we could do a quick 2 or 3 day forecast, if you have one ready?

JANE: …but all the branding’s wrong and we’ve got these streamers and balloons and…?

BRIAN: No, you’re right, Jane… that would look ridiculous… no problem, good job and we’ll do it all again next time… .
